More Cheer!

Watching the snow fall

Had to include this- as sad as it is, it's kind of sweet too.  Whenever Ethan is in timeout, Nate sits with him in solidarity- even if the offense was against him!

Happy New Year!  We braved the cold and had an awesome time watching fireworks at LL Bean

What better way to spend New Years Eve than with some snow play, fireworks, swimming, pasta in bed, and Willy Wonka?!

Our new found passion- legos for big kids!
So much Christmas Cheer!  As you can see we made the most of this holiday season!  We squeezed in a whole lot and had tons of fun.  We were so happy that we had the chance to get back up to Maine for New Years Eve, and despite the frigid temps (and colds, and teething, and lack of routine, and sleep, and unusual meltdowns from our 4 year old!!!) we had a great time.  We watched the fireworks at Beans, swam in our hotel's pool, hung around Portland, and hit some of our favorite restaurants.  It was so nice to be back in our old stomping grounds.

In Nate news, he is now 22 months and is starting to use recognizable words more and more.  It's taken him awhile, but he's starting to put it all together.  It's very cute to hear him talk and as easy going as he is, he definitely knows what he does and does not like.  He's still super picky about food.  He'll eat yogurt, fruit, cereal, and Chipoltle quesadillas- and that's about it!  I'm hoping that with time and exposure, he'll broaden his palate, but if his big brother is any indication, willingness to try new things gets less and less!  Maybe Nate will surprise us!

We feel super fortunate that we have these amazing little boys and our resolution this year is to enjoy every single minute that we get with them!  As many of you know, it flies!

Happy New Year!
